SB 1046 – This measure, created by Senator Dan Hegeman, would have authorized the regulation of sports betting on an excursion gambling boat or over the internet only. The legislative session ended on May 27th, meaning the list of sports betting bills in Oklahoma that failed in the past year was fairly extensive: Those sports betting bills were often left in flux, with lawmakers choosing to not vote on them, instead of outright vetoing them. The 2022 legislative session came and went without any of the many sports betting bills passing through the legislative process.
